cadisAPP for drivers

cadisAPP for drivers is a professional transport and logistics application designed to document transportation processes for freight carriers, postal, express, retail or manufacturing activities. The application is compatible with all smartphones or mobile devices from Android 4.1 onwards and can be deployed as a managed device or as a Bring Your Own Device solution.

cadisWEBAPP for drivers

The cadisWEBAPP offers the opportunity to easily integrate drivers operating outside of your own managed fleet. After having received an internet link, subcontractors, interim and occasional drivers can consult and process transport orders via a website. To do this, you only need a smartphone, a tablet or a notebook connected to the Internet. Software installation is not required.

Route optimization

During the route planning, numerous restrictions and shipment-related characteristics have to be harmonized alongside the existing transportation resources in order to optimize daily delivery and pick-up processes. The route optimization functionality within cadis allows operators to increase the efficiency of the dispatching of vehicles while at the same time to significantly reduce transportation costs.

Sequence optimization of stops

During the planning process, after having built routes, cadis suggests the ideal sequence of both delivery and pick-up stops by calculating the optimal itinerary whilst still observing all restrictions. Driving time together with mileage are therefore optimized. Each delivery or pick-up stop is assigned with a planned time of arrival (PTA). The sequence of stops gives the chronological order for the loading of shipments (in reverse order). The driver is supported during the entire process of the route. During the route, the estimated times will be updated in regular intervals (ETA).

Planning of pick-ups

During the course of the day, dispatchers continuously plan new pick-up orders. In this context, loading capacity, critical deliveries and additional trips play an important role in the assignment of shipments to vehicles. It is not easy to find appropriate solutions at this point in the operational process. Now it is possible with cadis. The operational TMS defines automatically the best alternatives and submits them to the dispatchers.

Arrival board

The planning and supervision at an early stage for incoming vehicles is essential to ensure a seamless process at logistics sites or depots. The cadis arrival board provides dispatchers, depot employees and dock gates with identical information in real time so that all participants can anticipate their operational activities and react immediately if issues occur.

Rules Engine

The Rules Engine is a central component of cadis that allows for the building of decision trees based on multi-criteria rules. With this tool, the dispatcher has the ability to define rules for the automated assignment of pick-up and delivery orders. The Rules Engine also applies to product or customer-specific mobile workflows which can be displayed conveniently for review.

 

 

Vehicle checks

Regular vehicle checks have to be performed in order to observe legal requirements and for ensuring the safety assurance of your fleet. The vehicle check functionality within cadis allows you to provide your drivers with a checklist and electronic graphics which list the important vehicle features to be checked and recorded directly on the mobile device. The approval of the check list together with the recording of damages can be made easily via the touchscreen of the mobile device.
